Engine Performance problem
2004 Jaguar XJ8 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 55,000 miles
had the fuel pump replaced because I got stuck on the road after car would not accelereate. The mechanic put in a new fuel pump but the restricted performance light is still on .

Not a fuel pump issue. There are alot of things that could be causing restricted performance. You need to get it to the dealer.
