2002 Jaguar XJ8

I am installing 2002 Jaguar bucket seats in a 1941 Buick Super. I got the motors to work, but I can;t figure out the seat heaters. I got a wiring diagram but it only shows the wires going to the modules. I need to figure out which of the wires gets 12v and which gets ground so I can put a switch for the heater and get them working. None of the wires in the following diagram correlate to the wires going to the 4 small junction boxes that power going to them to make them work.

There is one connector that has a blue wire and a green wire and ano0her connector has a red and black wire. There is one connector that has 2 wires for the side air bag and the other 2 connectors had the wires for all the seat movement and lumbar support. I know from the wiring diagram that one heater lead was constant 12v and the one of the other wires was for accessory 12v. I just couldn't get the darn thing to heat up.

Hi ron2424,

Thank you for the donation.

After checking through the wiring diagrams that you supplied, it is different from the ones in our database and seems to have 2 missing relays.

The connector that you mentioned seems to match the connectors for the seat squab heater. Red and black is for the passenge side but our database do not have the driver side heater diagrams, which I am surprised.

Lets try to get the passenger side working and the dirver side should be similar though wiring color might be different.

Have you got all the wires connected?

For power supply, there should be 3, two that are hot at all times while the other would be hot when in START/RUN.

Check the following and let me know what you find.
