1998 Jaguar XJ8 Transmission Fault & Engine Light on

I was pulling in my driveway and tires were spinnig due to ice.
Transmissiion Fault came on. I turn engine off and started again and engine light came on.
Transmission is not shifting properly now!
I did not over rev the engine.
