1998 Jaguar XJ8 Shifting
1998 Jaguar XJ8 having problems going to first gear from stop. Seems to skip to second gear and drives fine after gets going.

hellol, what you have is a internal failure of the trans, possibly the fordward drum is broken. does it bang when you put it int gear if so that drum is broken. let me know if any mor info is needee.
