how do you reset the seat controls , the steering wheel and seat do not move after the key is turned of

NOTE:Recalling memorized preferences can only be made if driver's door is open or has been closed within 30 seconds, key is in ignition switch, and gear selector is in Park or Neutral position.
Press and release memory button. The driver's seat, steering column and outside rearview mirrors will move automatically to preferred positions.
