1994 Jaguar XJ6 Won't start sometimes

It seems like the battery drains at times, and tries to start and doesn't have enough voltage. At times it tries to start and sputters alittle then just wont start. Is it possible that there is a short that sometimes drains the battery when it is sitting over night?

Thanks for your help, any suggestions, or ideas will be appreciated.
