Where and How to change starter on the jaguar?

STARTER MOTOR
Removal (A/T)
Disconnect battery ground lead. Remove dipstick-to-manifold securing bolt. Remove dipstick assembly. Raise vehicle and remove front suspension rear mounting inner bracket bolts. Disconnect engine ground strap. Remove rear mounting nut.
Displace and remove mounting bracket. Remove starter mounting bolts. Pull starter motor downward to allow access to main starter terminal securing nut. Remove main starter terminal nut. Disconnect leads from terminal. Disconnect starter motor multi-plug and remove starter motor from vehicle.
NOTE:Prior to fitting new starter, ensure starter-to-bellhousing mating surfaces and components are clean.

Installation
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten starter bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table. Reconnect battery ground lead.
Removal & Installation (M/T)
Disconnect battery ground lead. Remove dipstick-to-manifold securing bolt. Remove dipstick assembly. Raise and support vehicle. Remove starter mounting bolts.
Pull starter motor downward to allow access to main starter terminal securing nut. Remove main starter terminal nut. Disconnect leads from terminal. Disconnect starter motor multi-plug and remove starter motor from vehicle.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten starter bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table. Reconnect battery ground lead.
