Removal (XJ6)
Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels. Remove brake pad wear sensor. See Fig. 7 . Loosen upper mounting (guide) pin bolt. Remove lower mounting pin bolt. Pivot caliper upwards to access brake pads. Remove brake pads.
Installation
Remove brake fluid reservoir cap. Reduce fluid level to allow for fluid expansion and push piston back into caliper bore. Install brake pads. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels. Remove brake pad wear sensor. See Fig. 7 . Loosen upper mounting (guide) pin bolt. Remove lower mounting pin bolt. Pivot caliper upwards to access brake pads. Remove brake pads.
