1983 Jaguar XJ6 6 cyl Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi
Could you please help us we have a beautiful looking Jag but when we have driven it and its hot we stop for 30 minutes or so and it wont start. We wait until its completely cooled and it starts fine. We have replaced nearly everything there is to replace computer, air flow meter, repaired the fuel injectors, dis. cap, leads and a few other things. We have run out of ideas. Any suggestions.
Regards
Val

When you try to start the vehicle when it's hot, does it turn over nornally, like it does when it's cold. If yes, then you need to determine wether you don't have spark or fuel, or both.
If turns over hard, or slowly, you probably have a starter or battery problem. Please advise. we can take another crack at it.
