2005 Jaguar X-Type Won't start
Engine Performance problem
2005 Jaguar X-Type 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 42000 miles
My car was buried in the snow. I cleaned the front off, but started the car with the exhaust system, and tail pipes buried in the snow. I guess it was not getting air in or out properly. Now the car will not start, although battery related functions are working.

Did you dig out he tailpipes and try to start it again? That is true, exhaust if it cant get out will eventually back up enough to stall the engine and keep it from running. If you can get access, check for spark and fuel pressure as well if it still wont start after being dug out
