1995 Jaguar Vanden Plas 1995 Jaguar Vanden Plas Won't Start

Having a problem starting my 1995 XJ6 Vanden Plas, started at the turn of the key prior to today and now requires excessive pumping and holding throttle halfway to start. Once the car is started it runs fine, any ideas?

Start by checking the actual fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge if its within specification could also be the engine coolant temperature sensor is out of cailbration and computer is not giving it fuel for a cold starts.
