1993 Jaguar Vanden Plas Cranks but won't start

I drove it home. The following morning it will not start. It will crank and the battery is strong. There is no check engine light with the key on and engine off. There is a transmission light with an 'X' thru it in the top left of the instrument panel. There is no fluid on the carport either.

Conditions:

It is parked on an incline.

The temperature dropped almost 30 degrees overnight here in Orlando, FL

I suppose you have found the solution but it is the crankshaft sensor. The resistance should be about 1.2 or 1.5 k ohm if it is higher or lower the sensor is broken.
