The passenger side blows cold air and the drivers side blows out hot air.

Try a hard reset by disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes. If nothing changes, the most likely culprit is the evaporator temp. Sensor. Chances are the HVAC control module may be faulty but highly unlikely. You will need to take it to the dealer for diag. Of this sensor failed or just purchase one and replace it. The part shouldn't be to pricey and may be worth a try.
