We have had several sets of these tires on various Jaguars, etc and have never experienced any problems listed. They are a high performance tire with short tread life ( of course). Other than that they are great tires.

Jag alignments are for performance and not tire life. The car is most likely in alignment spec, It WILL buff off the fronts, nature of the beast

get used pirellis, they are way better than michelins, or anything else we can find. i know pirellis are more money, somehow, its around $250-300 a tire here, with michelins under $200. but pirellis actually last longer than michelin pilots, and have way better performance. dude, the smoothness of a pirelli summer tire is uncomparable.
