I have a Diagnostic Trouble Code of E510 showing.
The Car is running fine though with no obvious faults.
Can anyone tell me what the code E510 means.
apparently this has been asked for in other Forums but no one seems to know.

Thanks in anticipation

Thanks for your interest.

I get to the E510 code by pressing in the left hand column stalk with the ignition on. This then displays the word 'TEST' on the message centre location.

Further presses of the stalk then cycles through various displays such as 'GAGE', 'BULB' etc until it reaches 'DTC'. When the word 'DTC' is shown in the topline of the display the lower line displays the code 'E510'.

I can not seem to find any information about this, hence my question.

I have also seen this question raised on other forums without a satisfactory response.

This is proprietary information from the car maker and I suggest calling Jaguar. If this is not satisfactory I understand auto parts stores like Autozone will scan the cars OBDII information and tell you what it means at no charge. The site menu here at 2carpros has a listing that will tell you what the P code indicates and if you need further assisstance, we will be here for you.
