2002 Other Jaguar Models dead battery
Electrical problem
2002 Other Jaguar Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Every once in a while at randum I will go to start the car in the morning and the battery is completly dead. I have replaced the battery twice. Both times they told me the battery was ok but I changed it anyway.I jump start it to get it going and it seems like the battery is just fine. Also when this happens the clock has to be reset which indicates the power was shut off competely. The dealer tells me that they have seen this a couple of other times and it's always been the ignition switch. The problem is they don't have any, anywhere in the system. Iv'e been waiting for 3 months and will continue to till they get one. In the mean time what do you think of there diagnoses?

could be the ignition switch is keeping things powered up when it should not
