I just had a fuel injection cleaning, along with spark plugs, but now the engine light has come on and it is misfiring. What wrong with it? What needs to be done next?

Scan the computer for code/s to identify what's causing the light to come on.

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.

If the mechanic that performed the tune-up was not familiar with 2001-2004 Isuzu 3.2L V-6's he/she may have put the number 6 coil in the wrong position. On these engines, the number 6 coil is unique and can only be used in the number 6 position or you will get misfires.
