My 1991 isuzu stylus will run fine one minute and run rough to a high idel the next also the alt is shot because the volts go down to nothing when running and will not start again plaese help me with this

Well first, get the alt fixed, that may be all of the problem. When the voltage is low the ECM will increase the engine speed in attempt to generate more voltage.
