Engine Cooling problem
1988 Other Isuzu Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

i have a leak somewhere in the cooling system. i think i found out where the drip is. it's comming from the muffler. i know nothing about carts/trucks. i have to keep adding water to the radiator before i drive it. can someone tell me what i will need to repair to solve my cooling problem. whether it be a hose, water pump, the radiator itself.........thank you

Hi there,

you will need to have the system pressure tested to locate any external leaks. The water coming from the exhaust is a by product of combustion. If there are no external leaks, you will have to get the engine tested for a head gasket problem. Do the pressure test first.
