2002 Isuzu Axiom shocks
Suspension problem
2002 Isuzu Axiom 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 103000 miles
my axiom has electronic rear shocks. i was told i need to replace shocks.my question is can the rear shocks be replaced with standard shocks. what i have seen on line is that standard shocks have same size length and stroke except for wire for switch. also price is much cheaper. to replace with oem they want 800 to 1000.

most vehicles with electronic suspension do have aftermarket conversion kits to convert it to standard gas shocks, i don't see why Isuzu would be any different. have you looked for a conversion kit?
