2000 International Truck s turbo went out
Engine Performance problem
2000 International Truck s V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 198000 miles
went out and replaced it the was oil in the exahust took it for atest drive then 1mile down the road it lost power felt like it was chokin the engine running alit bit rough but still smoking white smoke not sure if its the injectors or pls help!!!!

old post but I am new to forum. Anyway you may already have it fixed, or discovered after a turbo failure your CAC may have oil in it which will give you an extremly rich condition. New turbo=new air filter. There was also an update on the turbo mounting pedistal which controls your waste gate. A call to your local IH dealer with your VIN can tell you if your unit needs or ever had that update/recall
