2000 Infiniti Q45
Air Conditioning problem
2000 Infiniti Q45 V8 Automatic
I have been told that my car needs a "fan control
amplifier." When I look on the internet I only
find a "blower motor resistor." Is there a difference
between a fan control amplifier and a blower
motor resistor?

The fan control amplifier is the same thing as the blower motor resistor, Infiniti as do others like to change the names of their components to be different even though it's the exact same thing in all reality.
