Oil change interval
Engine Mechanical problem
2007 Infiniti M35 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 19500 miles
My owner's manual calls for oil changes at 3,750 miles. I use Infiniti oil filters and a premium oil: Kendall GT-1 synthetic blend. I do at least 50% highway driving. Is there any reason I can't stretch the interval to 5,000-5,500 miles? The oil change computer in my Honda Ridgeline goes 7,000 miles plus every time. Why is Nissan so different?

Your initial oil change is 7,500 and next is 15,000. You can change it every 7,500 or cut that into 1/2 as you wish. This is what I got about your lubrication system IAW Mit1 .com
