1994 Infiniti J30 check engine light on, and car running re

does the check engine light have anything to do with the egr valve, and with it running rough. Also where is it located and will taking it off and using injector cleaner fix the problem.

Hi there,
The engine check light is a visual warning that the engine management system has detected a fault, you now need to get a scan to read this code as it will identify which of the management systems has a problem, we need this code to start the diagnosis of this problem.
