2000 Infiniti I30 Repair Question

Automatic climate control
Air Conditioning problem
2000 Infiniti I30 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 200000 miles
My ACC does not regulate the cabin temperature. I should be able to set it at room temperature, say 70F, and Automatic Climate Control should maintain that temperature. Instead only cold air blows unless I set the temperature control to the maximum. What needs to be replaced to cure this problem? Thanks

I have the identical problem with my 1999 I-30 T, at 130,000 miles. If I find an answer, I'll let you know. Otherwise, I'll stay tuned for your reply.

Temperature sensor inside dash sometimes stops working properly due to dust buildup. Mechanic blew compressed air into sensor vent and ACC now regulating temperature properly. If sensor stops working all together then it needs to be replaced. So far mine seems to be working.

Thanx, hef. Glad to hear you got it fixed. I didn't get off so lucky. It sure was worth a try, though. Guess I'll go buy a sensor.
