HOW TO REPLACE A COOLING THERMASTAT

Follow the lower hose (should be on the bottom left if you are standing facing the engine) to the thermostat. Thermostat is located on passenger side, front of the engine. Drain coolant. You dont need to drain all of it, just enough so it doesnt pour out when you pull the hose off. Remove the 3 screws. Replace with new thermostat. Be sure to use a new gasket. Tighten the bolts to around 30 ftlbs? Hand tight should be fine but do not over tighten. If you get coolant on your belts wipe off. It may squeal but it will go away quickly. Keep in mind you do not need to remove any belts or anything
