1996 Infiniti I30 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I got a check engine light with an error code pertaining to the EGR circulation system and knock sensor. I replaced the EGR valve and the light is still on. Is there a way to reset the check engine light?

Disconnect the battery cables, both pos and neg. Press down on your brakes to drain any leftover electricty left in the system. Wait 10 mins, reconnect battery. That should reset the light.

If not, go to your local autozone or part store and ask to use their ODB II and reset it. Very easy and free to use.
