1993 Infiniti G20 hello I have a starting problem

1993 Infiniti G20 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i got this car from friends and they didnt have any problems with it but when I got it I changed the oil the oil filter and plugs and wires and a new battery last year. Well I have a problem of everytime I go to start it I have to jump it and when I shut it off and start it again I have to jump it everytime and today I drove it for awhile and shut it off and went to jump it to start it and just got a click and nothing

Hi james butch,

Initial problem is a fault with the battery, charging system or a power drain.

Now that it is only clicking, it could either be due to insufficient power from the jumper donor or the starter has failed. Give the starter some kncok with a malllet or wodden handle to see if it starts working. If yes, the starter is due for replacement.
