When driving car forward in a parking stall. The rpm on the car increase without pressing the gas pedal. Same problem going into my garage This happen three times already. This is a safety issue. We took my wife's car to the Ford dealers, and they could not find anything at wrong. By any chance, could it be a senor some place causing this problem? Need your help. Rudolph Cordeiro.

A mechanic would have to experience this problem first hand, there is nothing that would randomly do this. Personally I have not heard of this problem and I have been working as a Ford tech for many years, there are no TSB's that cover this problem. Your dealer can call on the assistance of Ford Technical services when a problem like this occurs, as it is a current model, it will be covered under factory warranty, if you can supply the VIN I can do a few preliminary checks on the Ford technical site.
