I have a new ignition switch for the vehicle. It came with two new keys. After installing the switch to steering column and plugging back in the wiring, how do I reprogram the new keys to the vehicle new ignition switch? Does the new ignition switch have to be programmed to the car or just the keys?

Hello,

The new ignition keys have to be programmed to your vehicle's Power-train Control Module (PCM) by either your local Honda dealership or a locksmith. These are the only two choices that you have and it is done intentionally that way to keep people from being able to go anywhere and have a chipped key made and steal someone's vehicle. Please get back to us with how it turns out, please.

Thanks,
Alex
