So I lost my car key and need a replacement, however online I see ignition switch cylinder locks that include a key for around $15.00 to $20.00. Yet when I call AutoZone or Advanced Auto parts I am told it will be hundreds of dollars. I just want to know if I really do need to spend hundreds of dollars or to order one online and install it myself.

Hello there, thanks for using 2carpros. You might first try calling a Honda dealership. Usually you can give them the VIN number and they can order you a new key. That way you avoid the hassle of having to replace any parts at all. Just an idea.
