My car was parked for awhile and was only started daily. It run out of fuel and a few days after I added fuel to it. I started the car and it started normally as it kept warming up about three minutes later it lost power and went quiet. I tried starting it again and it just couldn't start and was hearing noises when I turn the engine key just before I trying starting it. The noises are like sparks. What could be the problem? I know I have platinum plugs that have been there for awhile now.

Additional information:before that while car was out of fuel it was used to jump start another car while it had not been started. Would this cause an issue. Battery is fine

Good morning

Yes, it will. You should never jump start anyone with cars with computers. The voltage surge damages modules.

The crank sensor is the most common reason for no spark. The engine needs to see a crank signal before spark will happen.

I attached a picture of the location and it is easy to access. I would start there.

I am aware of where the two crank shaft sensors are. At the back of engine. I will check them out and let you know what I find. Thank you
