Somebody tried stealing my car they took a screwdriver and stuck it in the ignition and damaged it. Well, I went to the junkyard and bought a whole new ignition came with the key. I put it all back together the anti-theft light is still on cranks over but will not start and the key fob I have no idea how to program that either. So I'm stuck I have no clue how to start my car.

Hello my name is Dave.

The easiest way to solve your problem is to take your old key and your new key someplace that makes chip keys. If you have 2 old keys I would recommend taking them both and having 2 made. Let them know that the old key has the proper chip and that the new key turns the cylinder. The other option would be to remove the ignition lock cylinder and take it to a lock smith and have it re-keyed to your old key.
