Hi,
Lately the van has had problems running with a low idle that causes the motor to die when parked. I have heard that it is either a bad idle position sensor or a bad idle air control valve. I cannot take it to a dealership to have diagnostics run on it, because the inspection date is out. I have been able to find an idle position sensor for it. The part that I have not been able to find is the idle air control valve, because (supposedly) it was not produced separately from the throttle body during that year. I would rather not have to pay $350.00 for a new throttle body. Would you happen to know where I could find an Idle Air Control Valve for my van? Specs listed above.

Thank you

Try cleaning throttle body plate on both sides and IAC hole with choke cleaner that may all it may be they get gummy and do not work. A lot of times. Parts are made to replace so other parts in the assembly are more than likely worn as well. Part is $268.00 at rock auto. If auto parts does not make the IAC then you will have to get the whole assembly.
