Has a 'miss' idling in neutral but not Drive and when A/C is on. It seems to flatten it out too. Thought I may have a head gasket issue.

Hello my name is Dave.

A head gasket is actually quite easy to diagnose, all you need is a block leak detector which you can get as a loaner tool from several auto parts stores, all you'll have to actually pay for is the fluid. The detector should come with instructions, if not just ask them to print you a copy. Simply follow the directions and you'll know if the head gasket is the culprit. I am wondering however why you suspect the head gasket, is it overheating? If you do the test and it shows the head gasket to be okay. Please let us know so we can further assist you. Thank you for using 2CarPros.
