Hello, I got a 2004 mustang bought it for parts for my car listed above. I took off the IAC on the 2004 and put it on the 2000 and it runs better, smoother I can go faster when i'm doing 75 the engine is purring like a cat, lol. Anything I need to know about this please. Lmk bad idea good um etc. Thank you I appreciate y'all a lot awesome pepps in my book!

Also, can I use the 2004 air intake manifold to put it on the 2000?

Hello, I'm Danny.

There looks to be only a slight difference between the two idle air control valves. I've attached 2 pictures below showing the difference. I've circled in red the only difference I found which is the clocking for the wire plug connection. If you want to use your phone to take a picture and upload here the air intake manifolds I could see what they look like. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
