My truck is a very fast truck when you put it in first gear and then second gear it goes very fast. Since I had the shop put in a new clutch it dogs out, hardly no power taking off in first or second gear. I called the shop asking them if the gears are not lined up right they said it was all done right. Do you have any clues what happened to it? Thanks Shirley

If all that was changed was the clutch and fly wheel then I suspect the clutch is slipping. What happens with manual transmission and bogging down is the clutch is not fully engaged to keep the RPM in its power range so while you may not see the engine RPM drop, the power is not actually be transferred to through the transmission to the drive-train and then the wheels.

Did they replace the slave cylinder or any other components along with these? Also, did you happen to have a performance clutch in it prior and have you switch brand or used a different clutch material?

There was a new slave cylinder bought and put in. I don't know what type of clutch system that was in before. And no other clutch material were used, that I know of. I am taking it back to there shop on 5/ 27 to have them drive it. Thanks, Shirley

I for got one thing. I had new slave cylinder clutch master cylinder put in and the clutch pedal squeaks, when I push down on the pedal. I sent this signs of a bad throw out bearing or the clutch release problems.

You got it. Squeaking clutch is normally one of these. If it didn't do it and now it does after the clutch then something happened when they were installing it. Thanks for the update. Let me know what happens.
