I HAVE A 2001 HYUNDAI GRANDUER WITH ERROR CODE B1406 PPD. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN.

PPD stands for passenger present detected. It tells the airbag control module whether or not a passenger is in the seat. If you have a B1406 code, be sure and check under the seat for books, coke cans or any other object that can interfere with the seat cushion sensing weight. If nothing under seat getting in the way, take the car to the dealer and have it checked out.
