I was curious how much a control arm would cost for me to order a control arm I was looking on line for them and I found a few that were around 80 to 100 dollars and how difficult they are to put on. Note im on a military base with limited access to tools and space to work. Would I need to compress the rear springs to do so. The syptoms are my rear passanger tire is cocked out im not 100% sure about wat it is. My friends told me control arm and I had no clue wat to think. Just need some input on price and difficulty level.

Before replacing the control arm, make sure it's bent. If it isn't, it should be ok. As far as replacement, it's a pain. If you need to compress the coil, you need a special tool to do it. Also, I believe the rear of your car is alignable. Have you had that checked?
