2003 Hyundai Tiburon

I have a general question regarding reasonable repair time for an accident involving front end damage and general body repair.

My nephew wrecked his car and took it for an estimate. the total cost was 6700. The shop he chose is ran by a family member and he has kept the car for almost six months. He keeps giving excuses about ordered parts and Insurance adjuster delays but I cannot imagine how anyone could justify this long for repair. Dose my nephew have any remedy for this?

I would place a call to the insurance adjuster myself, if I were your nephew, and find out if there was actually a problem. There should not be any problem ordering parts for a 2003 model year. Even if there was a problem ordering parts, 3 weeks in more/plenty time to get parts even if it had to be ordered from Korea.

My guts feeling is that your family member is dinking around.
