2001 Hyundai Tiburon 4 cyl Manual 120000 miles
I just replaced the thermostat on my car, but now the engine light is on and it jerks when I accelerate. Not downhill, only when going on level ground or uphill. What should I check?

Check engine light:
Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis,finding out what's going on.
