Sometimes my car acts like it is going to start but then won't. Then a few minutes later will start right up. Then the engine light will be on for a few minutes and then go back off. The strangest part is that sometimes slamming the trunk shut seems to make it start. The car only does this about once or twice a week. A friend thought it might be a fuel filter or a sensor.
I'd really just like to know where to start to fix my car.
