I just recently had my timing belt, balancing belts and crankshaft sensor replaced on my 2003 hyundai sonata. After getting it back and it starting about 5 times, it wouldn't start, in fact it wouldn't turn at all. I was able to get a AAA jump and get it to start (he tried the box first, and then had to get the cables and set it up to his truck to get it to start), and once it was started, I was able to drive it home. Once I was home I tried to restart the car and again nothing. I know that the battery is the issue, but before I go out and buy a new battery, I wanted to see if this could be an issue with the alternator, or if some of the very recent mechanical work had something to do with this?
