Code indicated speed sensor failure (hard shift). Purchased same from Auto Zone and cannot find anything like part on the transmission. Forum said "left side of transaxle" or "behind engine" - not much help. Part requires three wire lead from harness and found two such leads, but neither fits part. Checked again with Auto Zone to see if part is correct and they claim it is. Where is this thing?

Found it! Sensor is located behind engine immediately in front of rear transmission mount. Held in place by hairpin clip on wire plug and 10 MM screw.
Thanks for assistance.
