2002 SantFe with 100,000 miles. I have trouble starting the car after fueling. Once I do get it started, it stalls. After it finally starts, it is fine until the next time I fill up the gas tank. I have tried replacing the gas cap but that didn't work. Any ideas on the cause and how to repair?

Sounds like the charcoal canistor is filling up with fuel while filling with gas then purging into the motor. Make sure your not overfilling car with gas when the pump clicks once thats it stop pumping DONT OVERFILL,, there could be a valve issue in the tank also

Evap Purge Solenoid Valve is what id go with, it is probably pumping too much vapors into the manifold and the vehicle will not want to start, could also be a bad check valve.
