Hyundai Lantra Sportswagon 1.8L, 1996, 128'000km, serviced in August '07, new spark plugs, petrol filter, belts. The car run well til 2 weeks ago.
When I press the accelerator, sometimes the engin is not responding, slowing down and loosing power or accelerating with power later. What can I check by myself?
Thank you

Sounds to me that you have a MAF or a TPS sensor failing. Does the transmission shift erraticly while the vehicle hesitates any banging into gear shifting issues?

No banging into gear shifting issues. I thought the injectors could be dirty but it's strange that sometimes (few minutes) the engine runs properly.

Im leaning towars a failing MAF sensor, I woould take it to see if there are any codes stored in the sytem, I have a feeling there will be some sort of lean code or a MAF circuit code in there
