2001 Hyundai Other Repair Question

2001 Hyundai Elantra - my hood won't open
Hey, I have a 2001 Hyuandai Elantra and I guess the cable that releases the hood has seized because I pulled the release lever and nothing happened. Is there anyway I could bypass that to get my hood open?

Have someone lift up on the hood while you are pulling on the release. Sometimes it appears to "not be working" when in fact it's hung up.
Try this and if this doesn't work, then you will need to go through the grill to try and release it. Kind of hard to explain how to do it, but if you use a flashlight and peer into the grill up towards the center of the hood you should be able to see how the cable connects.
