2005 Hyundai Elantra Check Light Engine on & after acce

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis,finding out what's going on.

I have hyundai Elantra 2005 Check Engine light came on & than when I accelarated ( put on more Gas) than my car was moving but with Jerks but after some the Reverse Gear stopped functioning i.e. If I put reverse gear car moves in the drive mode it moves Forward. I did a computer scan from Mechanic . He said the Following codes has come:
P0700 ( 2 times),
P0733 (2times),
P0731,
P0732

Please help me immediately as the mechanic says I will to rebuild the transmission system which will cost me 2K.

You got a lot of problems with the transmission either you rebuild or get a used one-

thanks for the fedback ... well should I buy the transmission from hyundai dealer or get it rebuild it from Tranmission specailsit.

I would say at the dealership but its all up to you tranny shop could be cheaper-
