My car is overheating when driving. Idling the temp stays right for 20 mins and longer. Top hose gets hot, bottom hose is cool. No leaks anywhere that we can find. It builds up pressure when driving and blows the top off the resevoir, spraying the coolant everywhere. Belts are all fine.
There is no water in the oil - this started after it had an oil and filter change 2 days ago.
Please help!!

Start by checking or replacing the thermostat and see what happens

Thank you so much! We put a new thermostat in today - and the problem is solved! Even the air conditioner is working again - I have no idea how that is related, but the tip may help someone else - I had the car booked in to have it re-gassed next week, but will be cancelling that appointment!
