1999 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

hello

my car is hyundai elantra 1999 , i was driving today suddenly the check engine comes on and stays on even i upstart the car it also stays on.

my check engine light is red.

what's the problem ?

how will it cost for fixing it ?

Check engine light:

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis,finding out what's going on.

it has worth to repair ?

how much will it cost ?

whether problem can be gas cap ?

You need to have it scanned to find out what's really causing the CEL to come On.

i took my car today for fixing but its problem was from iginiton system , it costed about $479 plus $35 checking engine that see what's the problem

whether they got expensive from me ?

when i'm upstarting the car why is the check engine light come on and turn it off ?!
